St. Philip Halloween Dance - A Huge Success

WOW!!!  What an exceptional Halloween Dance last night!  Such an amazing experience for our school community and a fantastic feat for our grade 6 kids!

With online ticket sales and "night of" sales our community helped us to raise approximately $3000, before expenses, towards our grade 6 fundraising goal of $4000.

A GIANT THANK YOU to all students, grade 5 and 6's, that helped plan and organize everything!  You are all AMAZING!!!  While volunteering your time last night, you were so sweet and wonderful to the kids that visited your stations.  You MADE THEIR NIGHTS and it was heartwarming to see you in action!

Another GIANT THANK YOU to the parents of our AMAZING grade 5 and 6 students!!!  Thank you to Mrs. Godard and Mrs. Kean who ordered treats and kept the evening running smoothly.  Thank you to parents who volunteered to set-up, work the drink and treat tables, supervise games, sell tickets, and to those who donated decorations, treats, supplies, and baking. All of these efforts combined allowed for this ghoulishly great evening to go off without a hitch!

Thanks also to our D.J., Evan Moorhouse, for keeping our skeletons grooving to the awesome tunes!

Finally, thank you to the grade 6 teaching team, Ms. Langill, our office administrator, and all St. Philip School Staff for supporting our students throughout this initiative; we are so blessed to have such a caring school community!
