Construction Update

This week construction on the gym continued as the crews worked on lighting and the ceiling. The flooring, stage, and curtain is scheduled to be installed next week. Work on the new Kindergarten wing, the new multipurpose room, and the new 2-story addition continued. Window frames and windows were added to the new Kindergarten wing, and steel supports were installed to support the walls of the new Kindergarten classrooms. 

Completion of Online Forms

Please visit the Parent Portal to complete the Verification Form, the Technology Agreement, and the Media Consent forms using the following link: https://www.ocsb.ca/parents/parent-portal/. 

Students need to have all three forms completed each year.

Volunteering at St. Philip

If you would like to volunteer in our school please complete the necessary process found at this link: OCSB Volunteers.

The Richmond Fair

We are very grateful that the Grade 1, 2, and 3 students will be attending the Richmond Fair on Friday September 18th. If you have not yet submitted your student’s forms, please do so before Wednesday September 16th. Thank you to the Richmond Fair for providing transportation and for having us!

Parent Community Presentation: Paul Davis

Sacred Heart High School is pleased to welcome Paul Davis on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. for a presentation to the parent community. Parents from St. Philip School are welcome to attend.

Paul will explore important topics related to students’ online lives, including smartphones, social media, cyberbullying, and online gaming.

We encourage parents and guardians to attend this informative evening and learn more about supporting their children in navigating the digital world safely and responsibly.

Parent Council

Our first School Council meeting of the 2026-27 school year will take place on Monday September 21st at 6:30 pm. All are welcome to attend!
